When I started Destination Unknown oh so long ago I told myself I wasn’t going to be one of those bloggers who just posts YouTube videos day after day.  But my friend Spike, of Spike Nesmith’s Rage Machine fame, produced a video too good not to share.
The footage is of the abandoned Weston State [...]

I recently told you that I was the proud new owner of an Amazon Kindle e-book reader, and I gave you my initial impressions after playing with it for a few days.  Now that I’ve spent more quality time with it I’ve come to know more of its strengths and weaknesses.
It has already [...]

This past weekend I got together with all my good friends and went to see The Dark Knight. As I sat there alone in the theater waiting for the movie to start I realized that the last movie I saw in the theater was Batman Begins.  Can you tell I don’t get out much?

In the sixth grade I met a kid named John who was a classmate of mine.  We weren’t best friends but we talked and joked occasionally.  One thing I noticed about John was that he carried a book with him everywhere he went in school.  Not a school book — a novel.  There was [...]

I have no idea who this guy is, but I stumbled upon one of his posts while browsing Digg.  Ben Joseph has condensed a few literary classics down to three lines or less.  Some of it is brilliant.
My favorite:
Paradise Lost
ADAM: Paradise has arbitrary dietary restrictions?
DEVIL: They’re really more like guidelines.
GOD: Incorrect.

Look no further.
Gizmodo has the scoop on the coolest thing ever created by man:  the 3800-piece Lego Death Star(tm).

The set comes complete with 21 mini-figures, including Luke and Han in Stormtrooper gear.
The downside is it’ll cost you a cool $400.   Looks like I’ll have to sell my speeder.
Dear Lego:  I can pay [...]
