Orlando Travelogue: Day the Third
Day two was rather uneventful. More seminars and cheese — what everyone needs in life.
While relaxing outside the hotel between sessions I rather enjoyed the view and was inspired to grab my camera.
How do you know?
I was lucky enough to have my picture taken with Mickey and Minnie Mouse (Were they ever officially married or are they just shacking up?). My mind is so warped that the first thing I thought of as I had my arms around them both for the picture is "I wonder how often it’s actually a man inside the Minnie costume?" Then I wondered how many goofballs have goosed Minnie, only to be goosing a guy.

In the evening after the business sessions ended I took a Disney bus over to Downtown Disney, which contains the Disney Marketplace (lots of shops and eateries), Pleasure Island (clubs and more eateries), and the West Side (more shops and eateries.
The biggest attraction to Downtown Disney is that it’s free (unless you want to go to the clubs), so you can mosey over there as much as you like without spending a dime, unless you’re hungry or susceptible to the temptation of the shops. Of course I was both.
I grabbed a spicy tuna roll from Wolfgang Puck’s place for a light dinner (it was pretty darn good), then I started thinking that Richard Branson might need some more money so I decided to buy something from the Virgin Megastore(tm). I’ll have a picture of my purchase once I get it back to my office. Let’s just say Gene Simmons will soon have a partner on my desk’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
