I was watching Sportscenter on ESPN this morning and they showed a highlight of someone hitting a home run in Anaheim Stadium. The spot beyond the center field fence where the ball landed looked like it was landscaped to resemble a desert scene, complete with a bunch of big rocks. The announcer said something to the effect of “And it’s gone, landing out there with the Sleestacks or whatever is out there.”
When an ESPN anchor drops a Land of the Lost reference, I know my generation is at the helm.
